Alec Pollak has been working in the Internet industry since 1995 when he created one of the first big-budget movie websites for Warner Bros. Batman Forever. His background of art direction and design for print and multimedia at Grey Entertainment Advertising launched him into a founding Creative Director position at Siteline, one of the first NYC Web design shops.

He went on to form Stir Associates several years later where he continued to develop relationships with a number of major corporate clients including Olympus America, Warner Bros. Movies and Atlantic Records.

When SenseNet Inc. acquired Stir in 1998, Pollak joined SenseNet's team as Creative Director and executive board member and helped the company grow from a local service shop to an international intranet product company. He maintained longstanding client relationships and continued to design and guide creation of sites for many new clients including The New York Public Library, Smithsonian Magazine and YourDay.com.

In 2000 Pollak began a five year run as Director of Interactive Strategy & Design at btldesign, a branding and interactive agency where he oversaw and developed work for a variety of corporate clients including AT&T, Pfizer, Lucent Technologies, Corvis and MasterCard International.

Pollak served as the Vice President of Product Management and Creative Services at Sharedbook, a young company with big ideas about the future of brand marketing and custom publishing. SharedBook's client list includes Little League International, Cruise West, American Youth Soccer Association, USA Football, Cool Running and the Boston Pops Orchestra.

Over the years, Pollak has also consulted, designed and developed a variety of commercial and personal projects under the auspices of the For Your Imagination partnership with Paul Kontonis and Randy Pollak. Since 2007, FYI has focused its efforts on Internet Video and for several years Pollak served as For Your Imagination's full time Chief Creative Officer guiding the creative focus of the company. Currently he is a VP, Creative Director at The Third Act - the brand content division of Digitas.

Pollak is a graduate of Columbia University and has appeared in a number of industry publications including Internet World and Adweek and has spoken at several industry conferences and seminars.
